Here Begins the Story of Sammy

June 15, 1999

Seems as if the foster home business is a revolving door. We just got Sparky adopted June 12, Cindy had two more waiting for us - guess you can say, we had the pick of the litter! Michael found a friend to travel with him, and went down to South San Francisco to pick up a white deaf baby to take to Cindy. When he got to Cindy's he saw the two babies that were waiting to go to a foster home. He picked Sammy.

Today is July 11, 1999. Let me tell you a few things about Sammy. True, he was unfortunate to have a very poor job on his ears. But he has 'grown into them.' They have become part of his character. Besides, he is very intellegent! Not only does he have a face/look that seems to say 'Am I doing it right?'' He actually tries very hard to please. It saddens me to know that I have to let him go. This is one baby that, had I the space and time, I would love to keep. Sammy will make some lucky home very happy.
