Week 3

May 30 - June 2, 1999

Hey! Here are some pictures of me - FINALLY!

Can I have the keys?

I have a license, why couldn't I drive?

June 3, 1999

Here are some showing how good I get along with other babies - well, at least with Chelsea and Zoe!

Chelsea just loves it when I give her love bites on her neck

Chelsea thinks I give the best love bites on the cheeks

Don't worry, I'm not biting hard.

Get out of my way Zoe, I was playing with Chelsea!

If I ignore them, they'll come back.

HA! They tried to sneak up on me!

Tag! You're IT!

Aren't I a Handsome fellow?

June 5, 1999

Today we went on another long ride. We first stopped off and picked up a pretty lady! Rod and Michael put her in the kennel instead of letting her ride in the cab with us. When we finally stopped, it was that place where Riley never came home from again. I got nervous! Why are they bringing me here! I like living with Chelsea and Zoe! Why, I play with rough with Zoe (the way she likes to play) and gentle with Chelsea (the way she likes to play). Then at times, the three of us play together!

At least this time they didn't put me in this pen all by myself - they put Chelsea and Zoe in with me. Max, Sally, and Buddy where there again. There was another baby called Holly (a Shepherd/Boxer mix) and one called Coral (a Mastiff/Boxer mix) that had been rescued the night before, where also there. Plus five little 9 week old babies (no one knows what they are, seems as if they were found abandoned on a construction site, that nice lady Cindy bottled fed them).

This pretty lady was rescued from San Francisco Animal Control - she has no name yet.

Buddy

Hi, I'm Holly! I'm a Shepherd/Boxer lady.

Buddy, starting to swim in his water bowl.

Buddy - playing with the water bowl, AFTER he went swimming in it.

Lots of people came by. At the end of the day, two of the little babies and Buddy were gone. Some nice people took them home.

Some people stopped by today - Rod and Michael kept Chelsea and Zoe inside for awhile but let me outside. These people were all over me (I loved it!). The lady kept saying "I have to HAVE HIM!". Then, after awhile, they got into the car they came in - I tried to go with them, but I was told 'NO!' I liked the lady - she knew just how to scratch my neck! Oooooooh, it felt soooooooo good!

June 12, 1999

Guess what? Those people came back today - Rod was at work! This time I got to GO WITH THE LADY! Only wish I could have told Rod 'see you around! I'll be living only about a mile or two away!'

Sparky, we miss you already. You will always have a place in our hearts. And a welcome mat at our front door!

Thank you for all your prayers and good wishes for me.
