Week 7 - April 11 - April 17
Well this week was not very eventfu. Riley and Zoe played more - Riley initiating about one third of the time. The only bad thing to report was that we had record breaking temperatures here in San Francisco. Spring, suddenly turned into summer! 83 degrees - three days in a row. Chelsea and Zoe weren't effected by it as much as Riley. Poor thing, the only time he breathed normally was after being asleep a few hours. Friday night, he was so hot, that he woke me up in around 2 a.m. Panting so badly, I got up and opened the windows. Soon the fog finally rolled in and Riley was sleeping peacefully.
April 17 - Today we took Riley down to Milpitas for the Bay Area Boxer Rescue 'Dog Fair'. It is with mixed emotions that I now announce that Riley stole the hearts of a family that had a four year old female Sheppard, but had previously owned boxers.
Riley, we miss you already. You will always have a place in our hearts. And a welcome mat at our front door!
